Worship Arts Camp Details for Youth Volunteers!

Have you heard the NEWS!?!

Worship Arts Camp (WAC) is next week! July 20-24

It is going to be an exciting, joyous and Christ filled week. Here's what you need to know if you are a Youth Volunteer. Please make sure both parents and youth read the following points carefully and reach out if you have any questions please!

Before WAC week:

• This Sunday we will give out our themed shirts for this year's WAC. All volunteers should wear this shirt on MONDAY, FRIDAY and the SUNDAY after WAC.
• Please be present for Sunday School on 7/19 to receive additional directions.

Everyday things to know:

• Please do not be on your phone when volunteering with the kids!
• Every morning please enter through the NORTH(back) doors to the sanctuary. The main entrance doors near the Cross-Tower will remain locked until 8:45am when check-in begins.
• Everyday will end at 2:00pm except for Friday which will conclude with our Performance and Art Showcase ending at 3:00pm.

Monday:

• Please arrive by 8:00am for our volunteer meeting to recap rules, expectations and pray before we welcome in campers.
• Wear the themed WAC shirt for this year.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday:

• Please arrive to the Gathering Lobby by 8:30am to be ready to welcome campers in there Sanctuary.

Friday: 8:00am-3:00pm

• Please arrive by 8:00am for a volunteer meeting to discuss Friday's gameplay and final showcase performance
• Wear our themed WAC shirt for this year.
• Friday will be our Performance and Art Showcase from 2:00-3:00pm. Youth must stay with their assigned group until the end of the showcase.

Sunday: BOTH Services, 9:00 & 11:00

• We will be performing music from our Showcase on Sunday, July 26^th at both morning services. We are asking all adult and youth volunteers who are available to attend. Please wear your WAC shirt and plan to be on stage with us! :)

If Youth Volunteers or parents have any other questions or concerns about our week ahead please reach out as soon as possible to discuss the situation! Thank you in advance and get ready for a week of worship, dancing, art, fellowship and hearing all about THE GOOD NEWS!

Gym-Jam Reminders!

PLEASE WEAR GOOD CLOSED TOED athletic style shoes.

• If you need to bring an extra pair of shoes or clothes to change into for Gym Jam please do that. CROCS & SANDALS ARE NOT GOOD for Gym play!

BRING A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE.

• We go through TOO MANY single-use cups each week, especially in the Activity Center during Gym-Jam. Please bring a water bottle so we can be respectful to our church resources and cut down on our single-use waste.

Be on the lookout for new games!

• We are always open to new games and fun or unique variations on traditional favorites. If you see or hear of a game either from a friend, a different church or online, please save it and share the idea with Ryan!

SIFAT RECAP

A few weeks ago, 30 of our incredible Wave Youth (and 7 adult chaperones!) went to SIFAT for their Learn & Serve Summer Camp opportunity.

To say we had a blast would be a huge understatement. We witnessed true personal growth, deepened relationships, had so much fun and experienced Christ in a unique way each and every day of our trip. I'm so grateful to each person who showed up and made this trip possible. These experiences of course are also made possible thanks to the generous support of our Church community as a whole who uplifts this Youth Ministry through prayers, service and charitable donations. For that we each say, "Thank You Church!".

Book of James

We are focusing in on the letter of James.

SO MUCH GOODNESS PACKED IN!

 Please come prepared by studying through James each week before Sunday School. Be on the lookout for a text throughout the week to know which section specifically to study leading up to Sunday.

Send in those Sports and Extracurricular Schedules!

If your youth is involved in a sport,

e-sports team, band/chorus/orchestra or extracurricular club please send a photo or PDF of their schedule so we can try to make it out and support them!

First Priority at Bailey

MS on Wednesdays.

See you in the upcoming 26-27 School Year!

• Meets weekly before school at 8:30am
• Breakfast snacks/drink, always!
• Great time to kick off your Wednesday with a positive word from the Word.

Adult Volunteers and Chaperones List

If you are interested in joining the list of possible adult volunteers/chaperones please reach out to Ryan via email, text message or phone call. We are always looking to gain more adult volunteers to regularly help out with Youth events. All youth volunteers must complete annual Safe Sanctuaries training and complete a successful background check.
