Call to Worship
One:
I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart. I sing your praise and give thanks for your steadfast love and faithfulness. You have exalted your name and your word above everything.
Many:
On the day I called, you answered me.
You increased my strength of soul.
One:
Though the LORD is high, God regards the lowly;
but the haughty God perceives from far away.
Many:
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve me against the wrath of my enemies. You stretch out your hand,
and your right hand delivers me.
One:
The LORD will fulfill God's purpose for me.
Your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever.
Many:
Do not forsake the work of your hands.
Hymn of Praise
Holy, Holy, Holy!

The Prayer of Confession
(in unison)
Gracious God, our sins are too heavy to carry, too real to hide, and too deep to undo. Forgive what our lips tremble to name, what our hearts can no longer bear, and what has become for us a consuming fire of judgment. Set us free from a past that we cannot change; open to us a future in which we can be changed; and grant us grace to grow more and more in your likeness and image; through Jesus Christ, the light of the world. Amen

The Lord's Prayer
(in unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
