Invitation to the Lord's Table
THE LORD'S SUPPER
As a sign of our unity in Christ, let us hold the cup
until all have been served and partake together.
The Invitation
One:
The Lord be with you.
Many:
And also with you.
One:
Lift up your hearts.
Many:
We lift them up to the Lord.
One:
Let us give our thanks to the Lord our God.
Many:
It is right to give our thanks and praise.

The Lord's Prayer
(in unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
The Breaking of Bread
The Prayer after Communion
(in unison)
Living God, present with us now, present with us always: we give thanks for this meal and the privilege of sharing it with one another. We give thanks for the many ways you strengthen us for the journey. As we walk with you, give us courage, compassion, wisdom, and grace, all in equal measure. Give us your vision that it might become our own. Amen.
