Prayer of Confession
(in unison)
Gracious God, our sins are too heavy to carry, too real to hide, and too deep to undo on our own. Forgive us for what we cannot name, what burdens our hearts, and what has become our idols. Set us free from a past that we cannot change, and open us to a future in which we can be transformed. In all things, grant us grace to grow more and more like you, through Christ, amen.
(silence is kept)
Assurance of Forgiveness
One:
Friends, believe the Good News of the Gospel.
Many:
In Christ, we are forgiven.

Our Response to the Word
Affirmation of Faith
The Apostle's Creed
(in unison)
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth and it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For Thine is the kingdom and power and the glory forever. Amen.
