"Testify to Love"
Rev. Karin Kennedy Hejmanowski
This Wednesday: Evensong @ 7 pm
Greetings!

This Sunday will be my last time worshiping with you as your pastor. How especially grateful I am that God’ Spirit binds us together even when we are apart!

It has been an honor and joy to lead you in worship. This week, take a moment before and after the service to say hi to someone near you…certainly if you know them and all the more if you don’t! And let’s choose not to be offended if someone has to ask our name repeatedly. Some of us are challenged to match names and faces, but might remember conversations or other things very clearly.

People in community need to be ever learning about one another. As Captain Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation often said to his crew: Make it so!

I look forward to seeing you Sunday at 10:00 California time for worship and please join us for the congregational meeting immediately following as together we dissolve my pastoral call as I prepare to move with my family to Oregon. This will be available to those online by using the Coffee Hour link on our website.

Peace,
Karin

P.S. Note that this is All Ages Worship and kids will get to see two littles, Logan and Morgan Lyon, baptized!

Theme for Sunday

Keep some room in your heart for the Unimaginable.

Questions for Reflection
  • What is God calling you toward these days? Is it something you can do in community?

  • How will you be part of how God is moving in this coming month?
Psalm 85:8-13
Let me hear what God the Lord will speak,
for he will speak peace to his people,
to his faithful, to those who turn to him in their hearts.
Surely his salvation is at hand for those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.

Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet;
righteousness and peace will kiss each other.
Faithfulness will spring up from the ground,
and righteousness will look down from the sky.
The Lord will give what is good,
and our land will yield its increase.
Righteousness will go before him
and will make a path for his steps.
