Dear Trinity Church Family,
“Thanks be to God who always leads us in victory in Christ Jesus!” II Corinthians 2:14
As you’ve likely heard by now, the California Department of Public Health has issued a new order directing Fresno County (and 32 other counties) to close “indoor operations” for a variety of locations, including “places of worship.”
Accordingly, this coming Sunday we will not be meeting in our Worship Center, but instead
we will enjoy worshipping together as a church family outside on our beautiful Plaza and lawn area
. Consistent with guidelines we have been given for outdoor gatherings (including worship), as well as in conversations we have had this week with Fresno County officials,
our worship team will be leading us in joyful singing at all three worship celebrations this Sunday (8:00, 9:30, 11:00)
. In addition, the County has told us that appropriate social distancing guidelines remain in place, and that face coverings are encouraged but not required for outside worship.
A platform will be set up near the entrance to the Worship Center for use by our worship team and pastors. Socially-distanced rows of chairs will also be set up on the plaza, along with multiple shade structures (in addition to the permanent ones already in place). For those individuals and families who prefer to sit on the lawn area, please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs (or blanket), and shade umbrellas. There will be lots of room!
For those of you with children, we encourage you to keep them with you and under your supervision before, during, and following our worship time together.
As another reminder, per CDC guidelines, please do not come on Sunday if you are sick, have been in contact with someone who is sick, or are considered in a high-risk group or category.
For those of you who for any reason may feel uncomfortable attending an in-person worship gathering, we encourage you to continue to worship with us from home by tuning in to one of our worship broadcasts at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 (

).
Finally, please continue to pray with us for a spirit of unity and love and grace for all in our church family as we walk through this season of change together. We’re looking forward to worshipping with you this Sunday!
In our Savior’s love,
The Elders, Deacons, and Staff
