Helpful Tips for Online Worship
We use two video platforms to broadcast our Sunday morning worship service: Vimeo and Facebook.
We recommend using Vimeo if you do not have a Facebook account, but you should still be able to view our videos on Facebook regardless. (Note: you might have to click “Not Now” a few times if Facebook prompts you to create an account).
We plan to begin the livestream a few minutes before 10:00 a.m. ET to give everyone the chance to find it and join.
Here's how to join:
Vimeo:
On Vimeo, please select the newest video in the top left of our Vimeo homepage and then click "play" (the arrow button in the bottom left of the video).
The title of the video will be "Sunday Morning Worship Service - August 9, 2020" and it will appear a few minutes before 10:00 a.m. If you don't see the video and you're on our Vimeo page before the livestream begins, you might need to refresh the page closer to 10:00 a.m.
Facebook:
If you’d like to watch the worship service with commentary from members of our community, we recommend using Facebook.
Visit our Facebook page a few minutes before 10:00 a.m. The video should be near the top of the page (under "Happening Now"), or you can also find it under the tab that says "Live."
Find the bulletin:
You might want to print out the bulletin ahead of time, open it in another browser window, or view it on another device to make it easy to follow along during the service.
In case of technical issues:
If you experience a technical issue with the Facebook broadcast, please try to join the livestream on Vimeo. Vimeo tends to be slightly more reliable. If neither platform appears to work then we might have gotten disconnected. Please know that we are also recording the service and will share it once the service is finished.
