Welcome! This is a whole new kind of church experience. We are trusting God to move in our lives in a powerful way during this time of worshiping at home. Today we are continuing in our latest series, "Unwavering Hope," with a wonderful message from Dr. Randy Ashcraft, our Pastor Transition Facilitator. We believe God will speak to us as we worship, learn, give and connect from our homes. Now is the time to grab your notebook and Bibles, share the link with a friend and worship together. Make sure to follow us on social media and share how God is working in your life during this time.
God calls on God’s people to exercise the “patience” muscle numerous times in scripture. Now is one of those times for us. But I don’t have to like it!
HOW WILL YOU RESPOND
RESPOND IN PRAYER
Living and gracious God,
through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
you have brought us out to a spacious place
where we are called to live as those redeemed.
Empower us by your spirit to keep your commandments,
that we may show forth your love
with gentle word and reverent deed
to all your people. Amen.
RESPOND IN GIVING
Trusting in God with all we have, we give to support the work of God's church because we believe in our mission to share God's love with our community and world in the name of Jesus. Give online or by mail. Giving allows us to keep being the church, even in the absence of our physical presence. (411 Market Street, Wilmington, NC 28401)
RESPOND IN REFLECTION
  • What’s your greatest challenge these days regarding patience?
  • Can you name a time in scripture when patience is required?
  • They say “timing is everything”. Do you trust in this saying? Why? Why not?
RESPOND IN FAITH
God desires to have a relationship with you! He has given us ways to know Him better through His son, Jesus Christ. Knowing God and having faith in Jesus is a personal and individual decision for each person. Do you have questions about being in a relationship with God? We would love to talk with you and help you begin or deepen your faith journey.
