Faith and Democracy -
A Multi-Faith Event
Saturday, October 3rd 1-3 pm Salem Lutheran Church
We believe that, as people of diverse spiritual traditions, we bring vision and values to this election season -- to participate in creating a society in which the dignity of each person is protected, polarization is overcome, and all communities flourish.
This gathering of prayer, music, and speakers (Ann Cofell, a retired attorney from Mid-MN Legal Aid, and Sofia Marrufo, a community organizer for UNIDOS-MN) is co-sponsored by several local faith communities, including Atonement Lutheran.
We will explore practical ways of acting which are inherent to our faith and the values of our democracy. Join us at Salem Lutheran Church, 90 Riverside Dr, St Cloud, from 1-3 pm.
