Announcements

Wash and Worship

On June 2nd our mission trip youth will be hosting a fundraiser called Wash and Worship! This is where you can drop off your car to us before you head into church and we will have it washed for you by the time you get out! We will be set up in the west parking lot (the big one) and we would love to wash your car. We hope you can come out and support our students and leaders as they raise funds for our summer mission trip to Portland, OR.
Flowers Will Be Blooming at OSLC

Want to join the watering club!
  • Each year OSLC has numerous volunteers who donate their time to care for our beautiful flower gardens.
  • If you would like to join the weekly watering club, contact Jean Schad or Karen Miller (or email the church office).
  • The cost of flowers has been donated by generous volunteers - Thank you!
Lawn Mowing Season

Did you know? There were 21 lawn-mowing days in 2018 by our dedicated volunteers! Many thanks to our Property & Grounds volunteers who helped OSLC save thousands of dollars on lawn mowing fees.
Mission Jamaica 2020

Mary Anderson will be attending a leadership/organizational meeting for Mission Jamaica at the end of May. They are holding 10 spots for a team from OSLC for the week of March 14-21, 2020. If you have an interest in going on this "Vacation with a Purpose" please talk to Mary about this by May 19.
Rachel's Day

This Sunday the women of Our Savior's acknowledge Rachel's Day with a single white rose on the altar.  This is a day when we remember the children harmed due to violence.  Violence is embedded into many a child's life.  While gun violence is the major source of violence, drugs, abuse, neglect, poor education, health and hunger also cause harm to children.  Rachel's Day is based on Jeremiah 31:15-17 wherein Rachel grieved for her children.  Please pray for all children around the world that they may be free from harm!
Thank you!

Thank you to all who donated socks and underwear for Lutheran Social Service.  Our Savior's members donated 125 pair of socks and 95 underwear.  This is certainly enough to make a difference in the lives of others!  They have all now been taken to LSS.
