There is Still Time to Give
Thank you for all of your financial support to Our Savior's Lutheran Church this year. Your support has enabled us to hold weekly worship services, visit our members that are shut-in or having health challenges, provide a lively youth group, hold dynamic regular Faith Formation instruction for younger children, give to local and international ministries, and so much more.
It is not too late to make a donation for 2018, if you haven't already, to help us finish strong. If you have already contributed, please consider making an additional year-end gift. We are having a really great year and your additional contribution will enable us meet our budget and start 2019 strong. Please consider  contributing online today! Thank you.

  • Reusable Totes

  • Hand Warmers
  • Scarves
Donations can be put in the Mission Activate bin in the gathering area and will be collected through Sunday, January 13th. Thank you in advance for your generous donations, we greatly appreciate it!

Adult Forum -- December 16
Guest Speaker Dr. Janice Nadeau. "Families and the Holidays: The good, the bad and the ugly." In this presentation Dr. Janice Nadeau will draw upon her years as a marriage and family therapist to explore what goes on in the internal worlds of families at holiday time. We will examine how the holidays can bring both joy and sorrow. Emphasis will be placed on how to minimize the stress and maximize the delight.
Our Savior's Call Committee
The Board will be assembling a broadly representative team of people who love the Lord, love Our Savior's, and can work collaboratively in a group. The Call Committee will have training and orientation, and on-going support from the Synod office.
Serving on the Call Committee will take a significant amount of time over several months. The Call Committee sets its own schedule, but individual members must be willing to give this high priority on their personal calendar. If this sounds like something that calls to you, please tell us a little more. If interested in serving, please contact the church office and a "Call Committee Form" will be sent to you. Otherwise, forms are available on the Welcome Desk in the Gathering Area. Completed forms are due in the church office by December 30, 2018.
Inspirational Yoga
Join us Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 am in the gathering area for Inspirational Yoga. All ages, all levels; beginners welcome! The cost is $72.00 for each 8 week session and our next session begins 12/22/18. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. Questions: contact Summer Seidenkranz, 651.331.9940.
New Member Orientation -- January 6!
Interested in becoming a member at Our Savior's Lutheran Church?  There will be a New Member Orientation on Sunday, January 6, at 10:30 am at the church. Orientation is a time for us to share information about what it means to be a member of Our Savior's and for you to ask any questions you have of us. If you would like to join but cannot attend on this date, please talk to Pastor Christine to schedule a different time. New Member Introduction will be Sunday, January 13 at both services. Note that membership gives you the privilege of voting at the next annual meeting scheduled for Sunday, January 20.
Last Call for 2019 Pledge Cards
Please turn in your 2019 Intent of Giving Card, if you have not yet done so. Pledge cards are a crucial piece of the puzzle in helping our Church plan for the new year. Extra cards are available in the church office or at the Welcome Desk. Thank you to everyone who has already made a financial commitment for 2019. Your steadfast faithfulness is appreciated.
Thank You From the Women's Team
The Women's Team wishes to thank everyone who supported our annual Christmas Cookie Tray fundraiser this year. Thirty (30) bakers made 20 different kinds of cookies and candy, 360 dozen in all! Twelve (12) women packaged the cookies and 40 trays were sold. Your generosity helps us give women in our congregation and community the opportunity to attend retreats, conferences and educational programs that they may otherwise have not have afforded on their own. God's blessings to all of you!
