Call Committee

Call Comittee Update

The Call Committee completed its initial round of interviews with each of the candidates who were selected by the Synod as potential fits for OSLC. The Committee invited some of those candidates for a second interview, and we have begun the second round of interviews. We are moving as expeditiously as schedules allow, but we also are proceeding deliberately to allow for discussion, discernment, and the Holy Spirit's guidance. We will continue to keep you informed of our progress, and we ask that you please continue to keep the Call Committee in your prayers.

Wash and Worship

On June 2nd our mission trip youth will be hosting a fundraiser called Wash and Worship! This is where you can drop off your car to us before you head into church and we will have it washed for you by the time you get out! We will be set up in the west parking lot (the big one) and we would love to wash your car. We hope you can come out and support our students and leaders as they raise funds for our summer mission trip to Portland, OR.
What Would Jesus Recycle?

The newly-created Care of Creation Committee
has begun meeting to help Our Savior's and
its congregation find ways to become better stewards of the air, water, and land given by
our Lord. The committee will work to provide education, opportunities, ideas, and suggestions to lead each of us to respond with hope and action to global environmental concerns which put God's people and creation at risk. We believe every person makes a difference in protecting God's creation.

Our Mission: The Care of Creation Committee's work is part of a grassroots effort in a growing number of congregations to live out the 1993 ELCA social statement "Caring for Creation: Vision, Hope, and Justice"

Watch for future messages about how you can care for God's creation.
If you'd like to help, contact Don Schuld.

Ministry Opportunities

Stephen Ministry

Support is something we all need. God gives us support through our Christian brothers and sisters. Let us all be sensitive to one another's needs and take time to support each other through prayers, phone calls, friendly chats after church, and even visits. Also, remember that we have Stephen ministers who are willing to give their support. For more information about Stephen Ministry, please contact Becky Maier or our parish nurse, Stacy Meyer.

"When I said, 'My foot is slipping,' your love, O Lord, supported me"
(Psalm 94:18)

Request for Prayers and Support

Everyday joys and sorrows...Once in a lifetime joys and sorrows. Your brothers and sisters at Our Savior's want to support you. Email or call Pastor Christine Wenzel or Parish Nurse, Stacy Meyer, with any of your needs.

Giving Opportunities
Simply Giving

A more convenient way to give! In a few short minutes, you can make a one-time gift or set up a donation that will process automatically on a recurring basis. Recurring donations are convenient and provide our church with much needed consistent support throughout the year. To give online, visit our church's website and get set up!

Stewardship is about love:
