Gratitude Containers

November 18 is the date the coins from those Gratitude Containers will be collected. Many Our Savior's members took a container last February with a commitment to place a coin in the container whenever they felt gratitude for something in their lives. This year when all of those coins are collected it will be given to Lutheran Disaster Response to help those who have been affected by the many hurricanes and fires around the US in 2018. LDR is the organization that stays around after a disaster long after all of the others have moved on.
Valley Outreach Food Shelf

Volunteers Needed.   OSLC will be staffing the food shelf November 19, 21 and 23. Volunteers are needed for a 3 hour shift (9:30 am -12:30 pm) to assist clients with their food needs and stocking shelves. Please consider this opportunity to help. A sign-up sheet is on the Welcome Desk. The food shelf is located at 1911 Curve Crest Blvd. W. next to the Gazette.

Ministry Opportunities

What Happens When You Ask for Help from a Stephen Minister?

When you ask for help from a Stephen Minister, a Stephen Leader will contact you to talk more about Stephen Ministry and what it can mean to you.  If your needs can be best served by a Stephen Minister, you will be matched with someone who will support you through this tough time.  Confidentiality is a top priority for Stephen Ministers.  You do not need to be concerned that other people will discover what you talk about with your Stephen Minister.  On November 18th Our Savior's will commission 15 Stephen Ministers who will have completed 50 hours of training for this special ministry. If you are going through a tough time and could use a caring friend, please talk with or send an email to our Parish Nurse, Stacy Meyer or with Becky Maier , who are the Stephen Minister leaders here at Our Savior's. They would very much like to talk with you.
Request for Prayers and Support

Everyday joys and sorrows...Once in a lifetime joys and sorrows. Your brothers and sisters at Our Savior's want to support you. Email or call Pastor Christine Wenzel or Parish Nurse, Stacy Meyer, with any of your needs.
