Welcome to Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church, where all our members are ministers. We open our doors to all persons to join in worship, fellowship, educational programs, and service. We welcome into membership all who profess faith in Jesus Christ without regard to gender, race, ethnic origin, worldly conditions, sexual orientation, ability, or any other human condition.

Talking about Abortion

Dr. Pat Chappell is an OB/GYN with 30+ years of experience. On July 24 and 31, she will talk about her experience as a healthcare provider and the potential impacts of individual states legislating access to abortion. Andrew will consider two scriptures that scholars wrestle with regarding the modern issue of abortion: Psalm 139 and Luke 1:39-45.

Both Pat and Andrew have professional experience to cut through sound bites in favor of accurate information. Both are members of this faith community who genuinely wish

to put a face on a controversial topic in hopes to inform and encourage conversation as Chapel in the Pines thinks about next steps.

Worship Service Information

Please bring a camp/folding chair for the 9:15 outdoor service.

Friends,

We invite you to stay after both the 9:15 and 11:00 services for a time of fellowship and refreshments.

At 9:15 a.m., weather permitting, we will worship outside - to register please click here.

In case of inclement weather the 9:15 a.m. outdoor services will move indoors and masks are REQUIRED regardless of the CDC Covid level report.

Please bring your own folding/camp chairs for this service.

We offer Sacred Art Time for children ages 3 and up during both worship services (9:15 and 11:00). After the Time with Young Disciples, children are invited to go to the Remembrance Garden with Joelle and Jordan for a time where they can create art related to the week's scripture reading. Masks are required.

At 11:00 a.m. we will worship in the sanctuary - to register please click here.

If the level is low (green), then masks are optional. If the level is medium or high (yellow or red), then masks are required.

No Nursery for the month of July.
