What a week it has been!  I have heard from most of you this week and it seems like that for the most part, we are all doing pretty well.  Continue to pray for one another and reach out and communicate with each other.  We will make it through this and best of all, God is with us!  Here are some updates in regard to worship:

1.      To view the online worship video for Sunday, March 22, please click this link:

2.     Nora O’Connell, the granddaughter of Cindy Hunt, was baptized on Saturday, March 21.  We captured the moment on video so that the entire church could celebrate the occasion!  Click this link to view the video:

3.     Drive-By Blessings.  This Sunday, March 22, from 10-11 am and again on Wednesday, March 25, from 6-7 pm, we will offer prayers and blessings.  Simply drive up to the portico at church.  No need to get out of your car!  Bring your pets if you wish!  We will pray over you and send you forth with a blessing.  If you have anything do drop off at the church office or if you want to give your tithes and offerings, we will collect it all and make sure it gets to the right place.

4.     Next Sunday, March 29, we will have our first ever Drive-In Worship Experience!  We will have one service at 10 am.  Participants come to the church, tune your car radio to 88.5 FM and enjoy the service.  We will practice social distancing by staying in our cars, but it will be so nice to see each other and be together as a church family.  Spread the word!  In times like these, people still need God and the church and Trinity is uniquely poised to spread the word of God during this time in a safe and creative fashion.  Communion will be BYOB (Bring Your Own Bread).  Let’s make this fun!  Bring your pets.  Wear your pajamas if you want.  But if you are not feeling well, please stay home until you are feeling better.  We will plan to worship this way for the foreseeable future.  Honk if you love Jesus!

Lastly, today our church building was cleaned and sanitized by a professional cleaning company!  We are doing everything we can to keep our congregation safe and healthy.  These are trying days, to be sure, but God is bigger than a virus.  God is for us, God is with us, and God is within us. Therefore, we are never alone.  God will ultimately restore all creation, and this is our hope: The best is yet to come!

If there is anything you need or anything that we at the church can do to be helpful, please reach out.  Breathe.  Relax.  Be safe.  Be kind.  Wash your hands.  You are loved.  We are all in this together.  We are Trinity - the exciting church in DeLand!
I LOVE being your Pastor!
