WELCOME, PASTOR PETE!

This Sunday, we will welcome Rev. Dr. Pete Seiferth as our new Interim Pastor! Pastor Pete will come alongside our church during this transition season to help lead us and prepare for our next installed Pastor and Head of Staff. The interim operates as head of staff and it is our hope and prayer that our congregation will be inspired, led, and cared for by this shepherd. Please join us this Sunday in welcoming Pastor Pete!

SERVE OUR SCHOOLS: HELP NEEDED

Join us for Service Worship on Sunday, July 25! We really need help with our local school projects- Butterfield, Oyama, and Estes particularly. Our sign-ups are low so if you are in town and able to help, we would appreciate it! Check out the sign up below!

LABOR DAY CAMPOUT

Come camping Friday, September 3, to Monday, September 6, on our very own Mt. Lemmon. Come join our intergenerational church family and enjoy food, fun, and fellowship in God’s great outdoors. Capacity is limited so reserve your spot early. Participants can stay 1 to 3 nights or just join us for the day and dinner on the mountain. Meals are provided and some camping equipment is available to loan upon request. ICS 2021 PEANUT BUTTER CHALLENGE

Spread the love! Help ICS stock their food banks this summer and enjoy some friendly competition in the process. ICS has challenged Faith Communities to join their Peanut Butter Party and see which community can collect the most peanut butter in July! They hope to collect 10,000 14-16 oz jars this month! THANK YOU, ROB!

Rob Lantz has served as an Administrative Assistant for SAPC since 2015. It is bittersweet that we say goodbye as Rob heads into his new career in education with student teaching this fall and graduating in December. We are so thankful for the time he has been a part of the SAPC Staff! His last day will be July 30, so we welcome the congregation to send a card or stop by the Church Office to wish him well. Congratulations, Rob!

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED

Come and teach Sunday School! We have openings at both the 9:00 am and 10:45 am services for Sunday School teachers. All supplies and curriculum provided. Just show up, and love on kids. Contact Shelly for more information or to volunteer at [email protected].

BACKPACKS & SCHOOL SUPPLIES

We will be collecting backpacks and school supplies in July for the children at Gospel Rescue Mission, the Karenni children tutored by St. Andrew’s members, and one of the refugee agencies. Needed: colored pencils, highlighters, crayons, college rule paper, etc. If you don’t know what to buy ask your children/grandchildren or write a check with backpacks in the memo line. Questions?
