Hybrid Worship ~ Welcome Back
1 August 2021
Good Morning - Welcome to Worship!
Whether you are getting ready to come to the campus or you're preparing to participate via Zoom, you are loved! We are Sabbath-observing creatures and we are grateful to be back home with one another.
We Covenant One With Another
Good Morning!
Spiritual Formation is on hiatus through August and will return after Labor Day. Our first topic is "Wading Into Theology," informed by Elizabeth Johnson's Quest for the Living God.

Greeting and Announcements
No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!

Get ready to share celebrations and prayer requests. Zoom worshippers can unmute and share when invited to do so or use the chat function anytime. All congregants can text Pastor Ken at 480-263-3308. In-person worshippers can also write a card with their celebration or prayer concern.

Musical Call to Worship - Enter, Rejoice, and Come In

Call to Worship
One: We have had a break, a resting time, an interlude for recreation and re-creation.
All: As we re-connect, our joy is mirrored in each other's eyes.
One: Laugh! Children of God! Lose yourself in the choreography of the Spirit.
All: It's great to be alive!
One: Embrace! Children of God! It is in our openness that life takes on meaning.
All: Give God thanks and celebrate; it's great to be alive!

Word About Life for Today ~ Rev. Ken Heintzelman

Prayer for Communion
Spirit of Life and Love, as we anticipate the taking of this bread and cup, we give thanks for all the influences in our lives that have helped us see beyond the present and have called us to live in hope and trust whatever losses and endings we have experienced. We give thanks for the Spirit of New Life active in our lives and active in the world as it was in the life of Jesus of Nazareth. Amen.

Sending Forth
One: May the love that we share bring strength and joy to our hearts and the peace of our spiritual family be with us until we meet again. These are the times!
All: We are the people!
One: All of Creation is blessed!
All: May we love all and serve all!
One: God be with you.
All: And also with you.
One: Amen.
All: Amen.
