Lighting the Fourth Advent Candle
One: We wait for light while there is darkness. We wait for brightness while we walk in gloom.
All: Arise, shine; for our light has come and the glory of the Source of Life has risen upon us.
One: Even when chaos seems to cover the earth, and thick darkness seems to descend on all the people.
All: The Source of Love will arise upon us, and nations shall come to the light of truth and justice.
One: We depend on the sun during the day and the moon at night, but the sun shall no longer be our light by day nor shall we depend on the brightness of the moon to give light to us by night.
All: For the Source of all light and love will be our everlasting light, and God will be our glory.

Singing Our Faith - O Come, All Ye Faithful

O come all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant.
O come ye o come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him, Born the King of angels.
O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!

Sing choirs of angels, Sing in exultation!
Sing all ye citizens of heaven above.
Glory to God, Glory in the highest!
O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!

Yes Lord we greet Thee, Born this happy morning.
Jesus to Thee be the glory given.
Word of the Spirit now in flesh appearing.
O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord

Word About Life - Rev. Ken Heintzelman

Sending Forth and Words for Mission
One: May the compassion of the cosmos, and the empathy of Earth, stir within you a consciousness of a spiritual force in nature that shares pain, heals hearts, and nurtures hope. These are the times!
All: We are the People!
One: All of Creation is blessed!
All: May we love all and serve all!
One: May God be with you.
All: And also with you.
One: Amen.
All: Amen.
