Spiritual Formation
Spiritual Formation (adult Sunday School) is back! Join us by Zoom at 9:00 am or show up in the Shadow Rock Multipurpose Room! Our topic for September and October is "Wading Into Theology," informed by Elizabeth Johnson's Quest for the Living God. Last week, we talked briefly about modern theism as a departure point and the marvelous diversity of theology in the 21st century. This week, we get down to business with the question: "In what ways does belief make sense and in what ways does it not?" Everyone is welcome - come prepared to share your journey with others in ways that feel best for you.

Call to Worship
One: Let’s talk. It is a good morning to be together!
All: We are drawn by the warmth of faces, familiar and
new, to the welcoming space of this sacred place.
One: We can see and hear with our eyes and ears.
All: We can see and hear with our hearts and minds.
One: In gratitude we want to keep each other, our true selves and our neighbors within sight and sound.
All: This is what the beloved community does.
One: Equipped by God to love, laugh and discern, we gather together.
All: Perhaps we should keep the God who loves and equips us in sight and sound as well.
One: That’s a good idea! It is a good morning to be together.
