Sunday: The scripture readings for Sunday, May 10, are Acts 17:22-31; Psalm 66:8-20; 1 Peter 3:13-22 and Matthew 28:16-20. Sunday's message, "Presence", will be on the passage from Matthew. Sunday is a contemporary service and we will also celebrate the women of the church.
Questions to help you prepare: What do you think they phrase “but they doubted” mean? What does that mean for our faith? How do you feel the presence of God in your life? Has that changed over time? If it has stayed the same, do you wish you had a different experience of God’s presence? Why or why not? What are some other experiences you know people have had? Is that knowledge helpful to your own experiences? Why or why not?
