THIS TIME ... A BOOST OF HOPE AND LOVE
THROUGH SONG AND POETRY

Recorded during the initial Covid-19 quarantine period,
"Memories" is guaranteed to put a smile in your heart.

Memories
Here's to the ones that we got
Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
Of everything we've been through

Toast to the ones here today
Toast to the ones that we lost on the way
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
And the memories bring back, memories bring back you

There's a time that I remember, when I did not know no pain
When I believed in forever, and everything would stay the same
Now my heart feel like December when somebody say your name
'Cause I can't reach out to call you, but I know I will one day, yeah

Everybody hurts sometimes
Everybody hurts someday, aye aye
But everything gon' be alright
Go and raise a glass and say, aye

Here's to the ones that we got
Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
Of everything we've been through

Toast to the ones here today
Toast to the ones that we lost on the way
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
And the memories bring back, memories bring back you

Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo
Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo, doo doo
Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo doo
Memories bring back, memories bring back you

There's a time that I remember when I never felt so lost
When I felt all of the hatred was too powerful to stop (ooh, yeah)
Now my heart feel like an ember and it's lighting up the dark
I'll carry these torches for ya that you know I'll never drop, yeah

Everybody hurts sometimes
Everybody hurts someday, aye aye
But everything gon' be alright
Go and raise a glass and say, aye

Here's to the ones that we got (oh oh)
Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
Of everything we've been through (no, no)

Toast to the ones here today (aye)
Toast to the ones that we lost on the way
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories (aye)
And the memories bring back, memories bring back you

Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo
Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo, doo doo
Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo doo
Memories bring back, memories bring back you

Doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo, doo doo
Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo doo (ooh, yeah)
Memories bring back, memories bring back you

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no
Memories bring back, memories bring back you

Joe Willis Shares His Beautiful Song
"I'm Still Thankful"
Joe Willis' beautiful song of hope
and gratitude reminds us how precious life truly is.
We know you will love it.

I'm Still Thankful
Even when the water’s so deep
Pulls you down, it’s too dark to see
Even when you’re fighting to breathe
Find these words if you rise from your sleep

I’m still thankful, (when I open up my eyes)
I’m still thankful, (if it’s just to be alive)
I’m still thankful, I’m still thankful

When you’re walking through tragedy
Tests your faith, each moment you meet
There’s destruction, debris on your street
Find these words if you stand on your feet

I'm still thankful, (when I open up my eyes)
I’m still thankful, (if it’s just to be alive)
I’m still thankful, I’m still thankful, I'm still thankful,
(in the morning when I rise),
I’m still thankful, (I feel better sometimes)
I’m still thankful, I’m still thankful

When there is no solace to find
No peace around you, no peace of mind
One you love is fading away
Tomorrow could be your darkest day

Can I Feel Your Light
I’m Still Thankful
Please Say Their Names

Please Say Their Names

The time of concern is over.
No longer are we asked how we’re doing.
Never are the names of our loved ones mentioned to us.
For most, the drama is over.

There are exceptions: close and compassionate friends,
Sensitive and loving family.
Still look, still ask, still listen.
Thank God for them.

What can be said, you ask?
Please say their names to us.
Love does not die.
Their names are written on our lives.
The sound of their voices replay within our minds.
You may feel they are dead.
We feel they are dead, and still they live.
They ghost-walk our souls, beckoning in future welcome.

You say they were our loved ones.
We say they are.
Please say their names to us.
It hurts to bury their memories in silence.
What they were in flesh is no longer with us.
What they are in spirit stirs within us always.

Please understand we cannot forget.
We would not even if we could.
We know that you cannot know.
Yesterday we were like you.
We do not ask you to walk this road.
The ascent is steep and the burden heavy.
We walk it not by choice.

What we have lost you may not feel.
What we have gained, you may not see.
Please say their names, for they are alive.
We will meet them again, although in many ways we’ve never parted.
Their spirits play light songsappear in sunrises and sunsets.
They are real and shadow; they were and are.

Please say their names to us, and say their names again.
They are our loved ones, and we love them as we always did.
More each day.
Please, say their names!

Celebration

Rise, small bird, to the top of the tree
and clasp the topmost branch with your feet,
sing out from your throat,
your torrent of glorious notes
and then your melody re-enact:
remind me, earthbound, of some basic facts – say
if love leaves me I’ll hardly lose my mind,
and though grief is great, so’s the music of life.
