MISSION U @ LUNCH

AUGUST REPORT TIME!

DID YOU GET YOUR SHIRT?

SEND PHOTOS!

WOW, WHAT A CELEBRATION!!! So many gathered to celebrate Sally Vonner as our new CEO! Hundreds here in person and maybe a couple thousand online. It was a powerful ceremony with singing, dancing, drums, and the anointing oil shared with everyone. Joy overflowed -- as did the trays of cookies! Thank you everyone for bringing cookies, donations and your hospitality help! Our new CEO, Sally Vonner, sends her thanks to us: "The NTC UWFaith were amazing! I don’t have enough words to express how proud I am for how [you all] showed up…ushers, cookies, hosts, etc... Thank you! Sending my love and appreciation to all!"

Thank you, everyone, for stepping up and helping! And it was fun, wasn't it?

Wendy Campbell, 2023 NTC United Women in Faith President

Letters to my daughters

Letters to My Daughters

VIRTUAL STUDY Sept - Nov.

DINNER & DISCUSSION - Nov 7

Looking to integrate your prayers with your public witness? This virtual monthly study will examine the intersection of faith and advocacy as it relates to the social conditions of women and girls. We'll explore models of advocacy knowing that our sense of activism is often passed down from those who come before us. 2023 focus will be the current maternal mortality crisis and how we can advocate to improve the situation.

Register individually by August 4th for the four virtual "Letters to my Daughter" sessions, then plan to join the United Women in Faith of FUMC Dallas and St. Paul UMC on Nov. 7th for a group viewing of the final session with dinner & discussion following.

More information will come as in-person details are finalized for Nov. 7th.

Study presented by Church & Society of the United Methodist Church.

?'s: Dallas 1st UWF President Doris Marshall & St. Paul UWF President Vanessa Simon.
