Wrapping up 2024

It's hard to believe that tomorrow, we will say good-bye to 2024 and welcome a new year! Daybreak Housing has so much to be thankful for. Without you, we could not have supported the most vulnerable in our community! Your unwavering support has ensured our programs and services remain viable, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most. As we reflect on the past year, we recognize the collective effort that has allowed us to expand our reach, and continue providing essential services.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to continue this journey with you by our side. Together, we will face new challenges, embrace opportunities, and build an even stronger foundation for the future. Your generosity has helped change lives, and we are hopeful that, with your continued support, we can achieve even more in the coming year.

Annual Holiday Resident Party a Success!

Each year, Daybreak Housing hosts a special Holiday party, where residents from all of our houses come together to enjoy games, prizes, music, food, and, most importantly, laughter. This event has become a beloved tradition and a highlight of the season for all involved.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Reverend Jim and his staff at Knox Presbyterian Church for graciously providing the use of your beautiful facilities. Your generosity and continued support of Daybreak mean the world to us, and we are truly thankful for the partnership we share.

This holiday party is more than just a celebration; it is a reflection of the core of our mission—community. At Daybreak, we believe in the power of a strong, supportive community, and this event exemplifies that spirit. It’s moments like these that remind us all of the importance of coming together, supporting one another, and sharing in the joy of the season.

Holiday Gift Giving Program

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our generous donors who made this year’s Holiday Gift Program a resounding success. Your kindness and support helped bring joy and warmth to our residents and we are incredibly grateful for your contributions.

Thank you for the generous donation of warm winter clothing and chocolate for our holiday party! Our residents were able to shop and we were able to fulfil several residents much needed items to keep them warm over the winter.

Happy New Year to all our incredible supporters! We look forward to the year ahead with excitement and gratitude, and we can’t wait to achieve even more together. Here's to new opportunities, growth, and having more safe, supportive housing for those in need in the coming year!
