Wrapping up a Spring Season Filled With Purpose
This quarter, Delivering Good has been focused on expanding our impact by deepening our relationships with our ever-growing network of partners. While our offices are based in New York, Delivering Good is a national organization with local impact, working directly with community partners, foundations, brands and donors throughout the United States and internationally. As we approach mid-year, Delivering Good would like to reflect upon and share our stories of growth with our supporters - and invite you to look forward with us as we create our vision for a shared future in which every family and individual has what they need.
Earlier this month, Delivering Good brought our community of donors and community partners together to honor three powerful and inspirational women. Our 13th Annual Women of Inspiration Luncheon, held on Wednesday, June 12th at The Pierre Hotel, was an afternoon of purpose and hope. Delivering Good broke records this year with attendance of over 400 guests, and raised more than $450,000.

Our 13th Annual Women of Inspiration Luncheon was a bittersweet occasion, as this was Karen Bromley's final luncheon as co-chair. To celebrate her generous and inspiring work with Delivering Good, we have created an honor roll of donations made in Bromley's honor.

Bromley's daughter and two granddaughters surprised her for the event. Co-chair Carole Postal, along with Delivering Good's Board of Directors and Staff, closed out the luncheon with a special gift to Bromley and the honor roll of donations.

On April 24th, the City of Orlando honored Delivering Good by proclaiming the day as “Delivering Good Day”. Delivering Good board chair Andrea Weiss hosted the celebration. "Delivering Good Day" gave leaders in the fashion, philanthropy, finance, and hospitality industries an inside look into the organization's meaningful work.

Associate Council
This past quarter the Associate Council continued to hone its product cultivation goal for the coming year. Andrea Weiss, Board Chair and CEO of the O Alliance, facilitated a luncheon brainstorming session hosted by Ann Inc. at its New York City offices. On June 12 th, the Associate Council attended the Women of Inspiration Luncheon to represent the organization’s NextGen community.
The Associate Council continues to host informational sessions for those interested in joining. To learn more, please contact Caroline Udelhofen at
Financial Donor: Emily Olah
This quarter, we sat down with donor and co-chair of Delivering Good’s Associate Council, Emily Olah, to discuss philanthropy and the impact of our mission. Olah discussed her first site visit with Delivering Good, where she was able to witness the power of new product donations. When asked to share her sentiments about working with the organization, Olah expressed, "The word dignity is used frequently at Delivering Good – this to me is very unique and resonates deeply with me.”

Community Partner: The Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation
This quarter, we are pleased to highlight the Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation and their sister foundation, FUSAL, and the work they do with children, families and young adults in El Salvador. SAHF believes that clothing donations can dramatically improve the lives of those in El Salvador, helping to “empower Salvadorans to work towards a better future.” A recent donation of new suits from Delivering Good was distributed to senior students at public schools in El Salvador, during which one student expressed his gratitude to the Delivering Good and Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation teams: “These suits will be very helpful for us, especially during all of the academic and professional activities that will be coming up. They will help us a lot with our personal presentation!”

Product Donor: Chicco-Artsana

At Delivering Good, we are grateful for the generous donations from our product donors and brand partners. We know that our work would not be possible without their compassionate giving. Today, we’re highlighting Chicco-Artsana, a brand that has partnered with us for over 10 years.

Chicco-Artsana is dedicated to offering assistance to children and families in need. They feel strongly that companies and organizations have a responsibility to give back: “We believe that if organizations/ companies have the ability to give back, assist those in need, and better their communities and the world, that they have a moral and social responsibility to do just that. If we all do what we can, everyone will benefit and the world will be a better place in which to live.”

Industry Events Recap
Earlier this month, Delivering Good spoke at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas . Director of Product Procurement, Merrie Keller, participated in a panel of industry experts on sustainability and discussed how companies can incorporate social responsibility into their business operations. Sustainability is a key part of Delivering Good's mission and every item that is donated to Delivering Good and distributed to our community partners means one more item for a child or family in need and one less item in a landfill.

In May, Delivering Good attended the Engage For Good Conference for the second time. The conference, which takes place in Chicago every spring, brings the top brands and non profits of all sizes, together under one roof to network, share, and learn about creating the most impactful change through sponsorships and marketing initiatives. Delivering Good’s Director of Marketing, Dionisia Hatzis, brought back some of her key learnings from the event. The general theme was that “Measuring impact and relaying the stories of an organization’s impact - with authenticity - is of the utmost importance for brands and non profits of all sizes. From measuring reach and impressions to the strength of corporate sponsorships to sharing stories about sustainability and impact, it all boils down to the same thing. We all want to share the stories of how we have improved an individual’s life or how we have made the world a better place.”
