Jacob wrestles with God and people...and wins! Most wrestling matches are settled with points earned by various moves. Some end with a decisive 'pin'. How do you know you've won a wrestling match with God and people? We will explore the nature of Jacob's 'victory' in the message this weekend. Perhaps we will get some insights in our wrestling as well.
God of grace, how often do we think we are wrestling with You when really we are wrestling with ourselves? How often does our wrestling with others lead us to Your wisdom and call? Thank You for Your patience and persistence in calling us always back to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
