March's Tip

Visit the Classroom

With enhanced visibility, more students can access writing support when and where they need it.

Follow up on the connections you made with instructors at the start of the term and arrange a time to come into their classrooms to talk about WriteAway.

In-class visits allow for students to put a face to the service and provide an opportunity for questions. When sharing information about your on-campus writing centre services, include a few sentences on how the asynchronous feedback at WriteAway can benefit their upcoming midterm and final assignments.

Take along some print materials, like WriteAway bookmarks, to give out so students will have the information on hand.
