TIG-led Research Published by the American Horse Council

The American Horse Council recently published new work from The Innovation Group, which sheds light on the significant and robust contributions of the equine industry to the U.S. economy. The 2023 Equine Economic Impact Survey demonstrates the value of the equine industry in the national and state economies by analyzing the direct, indirect, and induced economic impacts of horse ownership, recreation, and equine-related services. Our research indicates the equine sector added a total value of $177 billion and supported 2.2 million jobs in the U.S. economy in 2022. For more details about this work, contact TIG EVP Tom Zitt.
