ANNUAL ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS!
The annual election of Officers and Directors is taking place through June 8, 2024. Any member of the National Audubon Society who resides in the Wyncote "Chapter Territory” is eligible to cast their ballot using the link to the ballot below. Please note that it is an uncontested slate but need members to consider their endorsement of the slate of nominees and provide comment if interested.
It is important to note that we are operating under updated by-laws that established “term-limits” for all elected posts. Current officers include individuals who have served for many years and are now no longer eligible to be nominated for additional terms. We acknowledge and thank Leigh Altadonna, Wendy Clymer, and Constance Sanchez for their many years of service as officers. Each of these individuals is eligible to serve one more three-year term as a Director and nominated for the Class of 2027. We offer thanks to Rich Conroy who has served many years as a Director and a past Officer. He is not eligible to be nominated this year for any additional service as a Director. Rich will continue to chair and lead the Militia Hill Hawk Watch!
We are delighted with the slate of nominees being presented for election this year. Please use the link below to access the ballot and cast your vote before the deadline of Saturday, June 8, 2024.

THE COSTA RICA TRIP WITH HILLSTAR
A Few Spots Remain!!!
March 14, 2025 to March 25, 2025
First, the tour to Costa Rica will be from March 14, 2025, to March 25, 2025. You can look at the itinerary attached to see what we’ll be doing each day of the tour. The exact prices for the trip are still being worked out; however, the estimate listed in the itinerary is still accurate. I will be sure to provide everyone with an update on the trip's final cost as soon as it’s confirmed.
Secondly, we were able to confirm enough rooms for ten people! As the itinerary states, we will have two people in each room. Please get in touch with me ASAP if you’d like a single room. We already have three people confirmed, and this trip is first-come, first-served, so once the slots are filled, the remaining people will be added to a waitlist in case confirmed party members need to drop. Please contact me directly if you want to confirm a spot for this trip.
Lastly, confirmed attendees can register and pay initial deposits for the trip starting March 15, 2024. I’ll be sharing a URL to confirmed attendees to complete this process - so reach out to me to confirm your attendance before it’s too late.
I’m so excited to partner with Hillstar Nature to lead the Wyncote Audubon Society on this international adventure. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns.
