WPM's Fall Fund Drive 2017 met goal thanks to listeners around Wyoming and the globe. It is an honor to have such wonderful supporters!

WPM's Digital Media Manager, Anna Rader, WPM's Cultural Affairs Director, Micah Schweizer, and WPM's General Manager, Christina Kuzmych, completed the The Modern West website. This project was funded by Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, and focuses on Wyoming's stories and culture.

WPM's Education Reporter Tennessee Watson was one of 14 education reporters from leading news organizations around the US selected to participate in a workshop on solutions-oriented education reporting hosted by The Solutions Journalism Network and The Seattle Times.  Over October 2-3, participants shared their work, their best practices and how they've used solutions journalism to enhance reporting.

On October 28 WPM staff participated in the 2017 University of Wyoming Homecoming celebrations by hosting a tailgate table. Hundreds of Cowboy fans stopped by the WPM tables to pick-up backpacks, bracelets and to visit. WPM's Program Director and Wyoming Sounds Host, Grady Kirkpatrick , took this opportunity to take a few photos of WPM's Corporate Development Manager, Dianne Burner , as well as our listeners and members wearing game day swag. Go Pokes!!

WPM's Education Reporter Tennessee Watson went to New York City to accept the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Radio News Documentary, recognizing her work with Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting on " Dropped and Dismissed: Child Sex Abuse Lost in the System." The documentary combines Watson's personal experiences with investigative reporting.
