WHAT'S HAPPENING AROUND WYOMING?!
The weather is heating up and so is the work being done around our state.
Trauma Site Review Update
Trauma Site Reviews that were put on hold as a result of the pandemic in 2020 have been completed with the exception of one hospital that will be completed by the end of June 2021. We want to thank the hospitals for your continued dedication to improving trauma care for our patients in Wyoming.
If you have any questions regarding Trauma Site Reviews, please contact State Trauma Program Manager, Kelli Perrotti.
CRMC & WMC Trauma Program Q&A Session
Cari Hacking, Trauma Program Manager at Wyoming Medical Center & Jennifer Dykshorn, Trauma Program Manager at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in conjunction with State Trauma Program Manager, Kelli Perrotti, hosted a Trauma Program Q&A on June 1, 2021. This educational opportunity provided valuable and pertinent information regarding performance improvement for trauma programs and data validity for trauma registries.

The Wyoming Trauma Program would like to thank WMC and CRMC for their continued efforts to support their peers around the state of Wyoming.

If you missed this amazing opportunity to learn from your peers or you would like to experience it again, please click the link below for the recording of the meeting.
Dr. Lisa Burton from CRMC hosting Trauma Lecture Series
Dr. Lisa Burton from Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has started a trauma lecture series in an effort to share her knowledge and expertise regarding care of Wyoming trauma patients. The series started off in April with a lecture about cold injuries.

The Trauma Lecture Series is made available and encouraged for any and all trauma folks in the state.

Please see the invite below for more information and registration information for the upcoming lecture related to hanging and strangulation.
Trauma Patient Registry Updates
Open Tickets with ImageTrend

Currently, there are four open tickets with ImageTrend that are awaiting resolve.

Open Tickets for TQIP Errors
Open Ticket for General Error in Registry
As a reminder, please contact Aundrea Brown for any issues and/or tickets regarding the ImageTrend Trauma Patient Registry. All tickets should be opened with ImageTrend by State Trauma Program staff. This helps to ensure system level updates, changes and oversight for the state.
2020 TRAUMA DATA
We are 6 months into 2021! That being said, data within the Trauma Patient Registry should be complete for 2020.
State reports are being conducted and data analysis is less effective with incomplete data. You are encouraged to take a look at your registry and ensure that you are up to date and your charts are complete.

As always, please contact Kelli or Aundrea and we will be available for any questions as they arise.
