A Prayer for Life
Father and maker of all,
you adorn all creation with splendor and beauty,
and fashion human lives in your image and likeness.
Awaken in every heart reverence for the work of your hands,
and renew among your people a readiness to nurture and sustain
your precious gift of life.

  • Friday, March 4th
  • Saturday, March 26th
Important information everyone needs to know (regardless of whether or not you have purchased admission):
  • Admission—you can still purchase admission to Celebrate through January 20th!  Click here to purchase your admission online.
  • Raffle information – PLEASE READ! -- Tickets on sale NOW! —anyone can purchase raffle tickets—you don’t need to attend Celebrate to buy chances to win great raffle prizes!
  • Raffle tickets were sent home with all students late last week—please retrieve the black raffle envelope from your student’s backpack if they didn’t give it to you.
  • The student raffle is new this year! When purchasing those raffle tickets, please make sure to put one student’s name on the ticket (per WI raffle law, only one name is to be on a ticket). Please put the student’s name and not the adult’s name to avoid confusion.
  • Preschool parents, we realize these raffles apply more to the older grades, but sent all raffle tickets home to all students for ease of campus distribution.
  • Additional raffle tickets are also available for purchase at the Xavier Scrip Office.
  • Volunteers needed Click here for the Adult SignUpGenius (XHS students were emailed a separate student SignUpGenius—thank you for signing up!)
  • There are many shifts beginning Friday and going through Saturday night. Please consider working a few hours as we could really use your help.
  • All night of volunteers will work a few hours and then receive a meal/snacks and beverages, be entered into a drawing for great prizes, and have the opportunity to bid on items, buy raffles, and socialize throughout the night.
Stay tuned next week for more great information about the night. If you have questions in the meantime, please call any of the Advancement/Celebrate team members – Lisa, Stephanie, or Bob at 735-9380 or email Lisa at lpfaff@xaviercatholicschools.org.
3rd Annual Excellence in Education Shining Star Awards
The Fox Cities Chamber's Excellence in Education SHINING STAR Awards program recognizes the outstanding contributions of full-time, Pre-K through 16 educators in the Fox Cities region. Our Xavier educators continue to do an outstanding job pivoting and adapting under the extremely challenging conditions presented by COVID-19. So, please take the time to nominate a Xavier educator for the Fox Cities Chamber's Excellence in Education SHINING STAR. Online nominations are being accepted through February 25.
Saturday morning Basketball Association - S.B.A.
If your son/daughter would like to play basketball but the current leagues are not a good fit, then the SBA may be what you’re looking for.

We have the S.B.A. for students who do not want the high competitive atmosphere or are not able to commit the time to a traditional sports program, but want to experience the fun and excitement of playing in an organized game with their friends and classmates.  Athletes having fun is our number one goal!  Games are played on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am. All participants in the SBA, regardless of ability, will play the entire game.  Winning or losing is less important than having fun in the SBA.

Students may have other opportunities or family obligations that may be more important than the SBA on a Saturday morning, so the player is not required to attend every Saturday. There is no problem with that. This program is intended for and limited to students who are not currently playing in another league. If you think this program is right for your son/daughter, sign them up now. You can do so by sending an email to Mr. Linsmeier jlinsmeier@xaviercatholicschools.org. We must have at least 10 players to start the league this spring. Games start on Saturday, January 15 at 9:00 am.

From the Scrip Office:
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break. The Scrip office was very busy during the Christmas rush!
We do have some scrip cards that were ordered by mistake. Unfortunately, these cards are not local to our area. I am hoping someone may either travel to the areas where they are used, or maybe have relatives there that could use them.
We have 11 - $10 gift cards that can be used at the following stores:
Tom Thumb
Jewel Osco
If interested, please email the scrip office at scrip@xaviercatholicschools.org. 1st com 1st served.
