Go out to all the world, and tell the Good News.

Praise the LORD, all you nations,

glorify him, all you peoples!

For steadfast is his kindness toward us,

and the fidelity of the LORD endures forever.

Go out to all the world, and tell the Good News.

~Psalm 117

Safety Drills

We completed our first fire drill and will complete a tornado drill in October. Over the next two weeks during guidance, Miss Polzin and Mrs. Casimir will be reviewing our alert systems with the students. Briefly, they include:

Yellow Alert - We have been contacted by Appleton Police that there is a situation in the neighborhood and we are to stay in the building. Instruction continues as normal.

Blue Alert - There is a situation in a hallway that is not a threat (for example, an injury of a staff member or student) and we need the hallways to stay clear. Students stay in the classroom and instruction continues.

Red Alert - This alert means there is a threat inside the building. We will talk through possible actions in a way that gives the students information but does not cause undo anxiety.

When all students have the information, we will drill the Yellow and Blue alerts, and review the Red alert.

If you would like more information about these safety procedures, contact Mrs. Meyer. Also, please contact Mrs. Meyer, Mrs. Casimir, or Miss Polzin if you feel these drills will be difficult for your child. We will work with you to be sure your child has the needed information in a way that is comfortable for him/her.

Home School Association

Would you like to join our HSA planning committee? Our goal is to explore ways to support our staff and students. Your ideas are welcome and appreciated! Please contact Mrs. Meyer if you would like to join us. Our first meeting will be Thursday, October 20th at 8:15 am. If you are interested but cannot make that meeting, please email Mrs. Meyer. Future meetings can be scheduled around the availability of the group. Thank you for your support!

We are excited to be planning a re-imagined Celebrate!  We had a fabulous kickoff meeting in September with both veteran and brand new volunteers!  That was our brainstorming meeting and now we will be making decisions and plans together, so there is definitely still time to join in the fun as we always welcome new committee members and we still have many key decisions and plans to make.  The next meeting will be Thursday, October 6th at noon in the library at XHS (we can direct you once you get here).  Note:  Children not in school yet are always welcome to attend and there is always chocolate for the adults and for the kids (IF the parents want to sugar them up)!

Questions or can’t attend, but still want to be involved?  Contact Lisa at [email protected] or 735-9380.

Fox Valley Saints Wrestling

We’d like to welcome the latest addition to Xavier sports - Fox Valley Saints Wrestling! Registration is now open and the early registration discounts have been extended until October 9th. New and experienced wrestlers are encouraged to try it out! This is open to both boys and girls.  Click here to learn more and sign up today!
