Weekly Newsletter

Almighty and eternal God,
from whose love in Christ we cannot be parted,
either by death or life:
hear our prayers and thanksgivings
for all whom we remember these days;
fulfil in them the purpose of your love;
and bring us all, with them, to your eternal joy;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Mass - November 1st
We will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints on Monday, November 1st with mass at 9:30am. There will be no mass on Tuesday, November 2nd. We encourage you to pray for all saints and all souls as we use these days to remember those who have died. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. Go to the XMS Campus Ministry webpage for the link to join us: Campus Ministry - XMS.

Guest Presenter
A Parent’s Guide to Navigating Social Media-- Using Social Media to Advance God’s Kingdom
Wednesday, October 27th @ 6:30pm (Xavier High School Theatre)
Presenter: Dr. Justin Patchin

On October 27th, Dr. Justin Patchin will be speaking to Xavier High School students in the morning and Xavier Middle School students in the afternoon. Dr. Patchin is a national expert on the topics of cyberbullying and social media. He has published numerous articles and spoken to groups of all sizes on these critical issues. We look forward to his presentation and the discussions at school and home that are certain to follow.

As this opportunity is particularly relevant at this time, the Xavier System has also arranged for a special parent session at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, October 27th in the Xavier High School Theatre. Parents of Xavier students as well as parents from the community at large are invited to join us to hear Dr. Patchin and ask questions of him. We hope that you can join us. Bring your fellow parents as well. Let’s do what we can to bridge the communication and understanding gap in our digital world!

All XMS & XHS parents who attend receive a “Free Dress” pass for their student(s).

Scrip News
You may be familiar with the Scrip program through which both XCS and your family can earn rebates by purchasing gift cards. But are you familiar with all the different ways you can purchase and use these Scrip cards? Many people choose not to utilize the program because they find it too inconvenient to pick up cards at the Scrip office or to have to carry around multiple cards. Did you know you can take full advantage of the program without doing either of those things?! Click here for some tips to maximize your rebates while minimizing your inconvenience.
Fleet Farm Scrip - In anticipation for Toyland Opening, the percentage you earn with Fleet Farm scrip will be increased to 8%. This additional percentage will run thru the end of October. The normal 5% will go back into effect 11/1.
