Lost and Found

School Spelling Bee - February 1st

Well done! These students will participate in the School Spelling Bee on Wednesday, February 1st at 1:00 in the auditorium. Parents are welcome to attend! The winner advances to the Regional Bee held at the middle school in Kimberly on February 9th. Any questions can be directed to Jackie Bouchard [email protected]

Orchestra News

The 7th, 8th grade and high school orchestras will be having their Winter Concert on Wednesday, February 1st at Xavier High School. The concert will feature music from movies, broadway shows and more! Come hear all the hard work the 7th, 8th and high school students have been doing learning a lot of challenging music. 


Here are the concert details:

  • Concert Date: Wednesday, February 1st
  • Location: Xavier High School
  • Call Time: 5:45 pm
  • Concert Time: 6:30 pm
  • Dress: Black bottoms, white tops
  • Concert Length: just over one hour


Since the 7th and 8th grade orchestra classes will be performing with the high school orchestra please plan on staying for the duration of the concert. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Kenney

Inside Out Cafe

Inside Out cafe will meet tomorrow after school until 4:15.


Spelling Club

Spelling Club will meet next Monday, the 30th after school until 4:00.

XMS Ski and Snowboard Club

The first ski trip of the season is this Friday to Sunburst Mountain. We still need more parent chaperones for this trip. If you are interested, please contact Colleen Wogernese at [email protected]. Thank you!


Our next ski trip is on February 9th to Granite Peak (Rib Mountain). If you are interested in going on this trip, please turn in the following forms and fees by Thursday, February 2nd (this is a strict deadline set by the hill):

Be “In the Know” about Celebrate 2023

Celebrate is a little over one week away!  You can participate in many ways regardless of whether or not you are not attending in person.  

  • Online Bidding on the Silent and Super Silent Auctions OPENS THURSDSAY, JANUARY 26TH:  You can participate in the silent auction regardless of whether or not you are attending—bidding can happen from anywhere.  Anyone can click here on the GiveSmart link to start bidding early (and often!) beginning Thursday!  It is FREE for anyone to register to bid on and look at all of the silent auction items.  (Note:  to place any bids or to donate, you are required to put a credit card on file, but it will only be charged if you are the winning bidder or donate.)
  • Raffle Tickets:  You don’t have to attend Celebrate to be in on the chance to win our great raffle prizes!  All Celebrate raffle tickets (with the exception of the Hawk Ticket) were sent home with students and you can purchase the Hawk ticket and/or additional raffle tickets at the Xavier Scrip Office through Monday, January 30th.  Our thanks to all of the families who have already purchased and sent back raffle tickets.  Reminder that all are to be returned by Monday (1/30).
  • Volunteers NEEDED!  We need about 100 volunteers the weekend of Celebrate and we still need many adult volunteers to help that evening.  Click here for the adult SignUpGenius.

2023 Baseball Registration is now open!

Grand Chute Baseball provides a competitive level of baseball while maintaining our commitment to teach baseball fundamentals, sportsmanship and teamwork in a friendly environment.

When: January 1 – March 31

Who: Co-ed; ages 5-12yrs old

What: T-Ball (ages 5-6), Rookie-Machine Pitch (ages 7-8), Kid-pitch-Minors 46/60 (ages 9-10), and Majors 50/65 (ages 11-12)

Where: Online registration at www.grandchutebaseball.com Click the register tab and follow the directions. NO RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS

 Season dates: May 31st – July 27th @ Plamann Park and Patriot Park
