2021-2022 School Year
It is time to start looking ahead to the 2021-2022 school year! The course selection form will be emailed to parents at the end of this week. At this time of year, we typically have an Academic Placement Night for parents to relay the information on the course opportunities at each grade level. This year we will include a slide presentation with the form that will outline this information. Our XMS Coursebook is also a valuable source, and it can be found on our website.
Please complete the course selection form by March 12th. If you have any questions, contact Sara Meyer smeyer@xaviercatholicschools.org. We look forward to a great year!
ReadQuest - March 12th
ReadQuest, a day to celebrate the adventure of reading, is happening on Friday, March 12. These days leading up to March 12 will include extra encouragement for students to read their AR books so they are ready to take a test on March 12th. If students take and pass their AR test on this day, they win a prize! Prizes include $5 Culver's gift cards, free Concrete Mixer, free Tom's ice cream cone, free casual day, Dr. Seuss related pens, squeeze balls, putty, key chains, and more! Special thank you to our Cookies for a Cause donor, Culver's, Tom's Drive in, for the donations received. Questions? Feel free to contact Jackie Bouchard at jbouchard@xaviercatholicschools.org with any questions.
Pep Band Performance
Congratulations to the students of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands. They combined to form a Pep Pand, and performed for the 5th grade class last Friday. Their performance included the songs Sweet Caroline, 25 or 6 to 4, Hey Baby, Seven Nation Army, and the School Song. Click here to view pictures and videos from their practice. Well done, bands!

Boys & Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club of Kaleidoscope Academy located at 318 E. Brewster Street serves youth in grades 6-8 before school from 6:45 am to 7:43 am and after school from 3:20 pm to 6:00 pm. This club is open to all 6th-8th grade students who attend schools in the area. If you would be interested in more information about this program, please visit our website: https://www.bgclubfoxvalley.org or contact Maria Pearce at mpearce@bgclubfoxvalley.org.
Track Coaches Still Needed
We are still in need of more volunteers to help coach the boys track and field team. Practices will be after school, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. You do not need to be an expert. If you enjoy running or have competed in track and field growing up you are qualified to coach. Please consider running with your kids. It's a great incentive to train. We need help to teach, to encourage, to challenge, to celebrate, and sometimes to cry with the kids. Please consider helping out Coach Schwartz. If you are able to help out please email the Athletic Director, Billie Muñoz at bmunoz@xaviercatholicschools.org.
