Ash Wednesday

What will I do for my soul?

pray, fast, give

Today we begin the holy season of Lent 2023; walking with one another as we participate in the ritual practices of prayer, fasting, and giving.

Lost and Found

Please click here to take a look at the Lost and Found items we have collected to see if any belong to your family. Your child can pick their things up from the office lobby. All lost and found items will be donated after February 27th!

Solo & Ensemble for Piano Students

Does your child take outside-of-school piano lessons? The XMS Solo & Ensemble Music Festival will take place on MONDAY, MARCH 20 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Piano students may take advantage of the opportunity to play for a piano judge. Email Ms. Dodd for a performance time. Please include your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of time frame: 3:45-4:15, 4:15-4:45, 4:45-5:15, 5:15-5:45, 5:45-6:15, 6:15-6:45.  Times are assigned first-come, first served.  Additional information is available at this LINK.

Birthday Treats

Birthdays are special and we realize it is an exciting day for each student! We announce birthdays in the morning, and students are allowed to bring a treat for their KIDS group if desired. Please contact your child’s KIDS advisor a few days in advance so that he/she is aware of the treat and can make any accommodations needed for the students. Birthday treats and other treats are not allowed in the lunchroom. If treats are dropped off after the morning KIDS group, the student can hand them out during KIDS at the end of the day.

Thank you for understanding. We want to celebrate in a way that is appropriate for middle school and safe for all involved.

Our genuine and heartfelt appreciation to all who sponsored, donated, attended, volunteered, or helped in some way to make Celebrate 2023 another success.  Everyone came together to provide amazing possibilities for our students!

Thanks to the generosity of our many supporters, we were blessed with another record-breaking year and a preliminary net amount of over $622,000 raised at Celebrate 2023!  We are beyond grateful to everyone for making this night such a tremendous success.  Note:  Employer matches are still coming in and are an additional great source of revenue for Xavier Catholic Schools.  Did you make a gift at Celebrate that could be matched by your employer?  Click here to be directed to our Giving page to enter your employer to see if there is a match available.  Thank you!

Click here to go to the Events section of the Xavier website for additional event details, and to watch the inspirational Fund Our Future video from that night as well as to watch a photo montage from Celebrate 2023.  Our thanks to the students who participated in the video and to Meredith S. ’23, our student photographer who captured fun photos from the evening.

Save the date now for Celebrate 2024!  We look forward to “Celebrate”-ing with you again next year on February 3, 2024.
