On 15 April 2025, Xugana Island Lodge will welcome guests once again following our highly anticipated rebuild.

The new lodge continues the legacy of the most spectacular permanent water site in the Okavango Delta, with all public areas and rooms overlooking different parts of the breathtaking Xugana lagoon.

Now, more than ever before, Xugana will mirror the awe of its surroundings, and feature a host of exciting additions, including rooms in previously unexplored parts of the island. 

Just as the beauty of this destination is unwavering, privacy remains a key highlight, supported by a maximum capacity of just 22 guests.

Rooms, activities, and the revolutionised Xugana Island Lodge are set to wow our guests, new and repeat. While the final countdown begins to our official re-opening, all Xugana Island Lodge necessities, including renders, layouts and a brand new fact sheet, are ready for you on our Agent Portal.

CHOBE SAVANNA LODGE REBUILD PLANNING UNDERWAY:

As Xugana Island Lodge opens its doors, Chobe Savanna Lodge readies for a complete rebuild. Closure for this will be from 1 October 2025 to 1 April 2026. 

The redesign of this classic lodge will echo it’s current character, emphasising the island feel and further capitalising on the unbeatable location and views over the Chobe River and floodplains, surrounding the lodge.

Stay tuned for updates on our beloved Eastern Caprivi gem.

1. 2026 RATES EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE ON THE AGENT PORTAL

The Agent Portal will soon become our exclusive hub for you to access all things Desert & Delta Safaris, including upcoming Xugana Island Lodge photography and videography, as well as 2026 rates.

NB: Our 2026 rates will soon be released and only accessible on the Agent Portal. No rates will be sent directly, so please ensure your company profile is loaded and login details are at the ready.
