New: Report Cards Available
Report cards are now available for viewing. To view your student's report card:
 
  1. Log in to PowerSchool
  2. Scroll all the way to the bottom and look for "Progress/Report Card" on the left side
  3. Select “Xavier Report Card” 
  4. Select the current year
  5. Click "Run Report"

Reminder: Women's Conference Registration is OPEN - Men's Conference Information Coming Soon
If your student would like to participate in our Women's Conference. Here is the Registration -- but read on for more details!
 
Xavier's Women's Conference will be held February 9 (9th and 10 graders) and February 10 (11th and 12th graders) at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Center. The theme for the day is "Own It". We will have a guest speaker, Jenny Chadima, joining us as our keynote speaker! The retreat will run from 8:45 am - 2:30 pm, so students will miss a day of school (and will be responsible for making up any work that you miss).  
 
The cost is $20, and includes lunch and a t-shirt. Lunch is being provided by Jersey Mike's! You will need to pay your $20 at xavierhs.8to18.com, and your registration WILL NOT be complete until that payment has been made.  
 
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS January 17TH AT 3PM -- no exceptions will be made after this date for spacing purposes.

Reminder: Second Semester Schedule Changes Deadline is Tomorrow
The deadline to change Semester 2 classes is Wednesday, January 11th. Students who would like to request a class change will need to stop into Student Services during the first week of school to receive a schedule or level change form. No changes will be made until the form is returned with all required signatures. Please contact your school counselor with any questions.
Reminder: Winter Clothing Drive
January 9th through 13th Xavier will be hosting a Winter Clothing Drive for Willis Dady Homeless Services. Below are the items we will be collecting:

(All May be Gently Used besides Warmers)
● Coats
● Hand and Feet Warmers
● Blankets
● Hats
● Gloves
● Socks
● Scarves

Students will drop off all items in their Houses.
Reminder: Tuition Statements
To make the process more efficient for families, we are asking parents to print off tuition statements from the "My BackPack" website (step by step process below) to use for the Tuition Tax Credit on your Iowa tax return. The credit is maxed out at $2,000 of allowed school expense per student (tuition, textbooks) for the 2022 calendar year and the maximum credit is $500 or 25% of max expense per student. 
 
Please provide this documentation to the person who prepares your tax return to take advantage of the tuition tax credit.
