New: Parent Drivers Still Needed for Community Service Day
Xavier's Community Service Day is Wednesday, October 27th. We are in need of more parent drivers to help make this day a success! If you are willing to help drive, we would love to have you join us! Parents help drive students to leaf raking locations from Xavier between 8:30-1:00. If you have not registered to drive but are able to do so, please contact the Xavier main office at info@xaviersaints.org or 319-294-6635.
New: Last Call for Community Service Day Leaf Raking Services
If you know anyone who is elderly and needs help raking their yard please contact Xavier at 319-294-6635. We’ll be collecting names and addresses until Wednesday. When you call please provide their name, address, size of their yard, where to put the leaves, and if they want their 1st floor exterior windows washed. Thank you for helping us identify people who need this service!

Reminder: Respect Life Week
This week, in communion with the Universal Church in the month of October, we take a deeper look at celebrating, respecting and defending the dignity of all human life. Along with the USCCB, our theme this year is St. Joseph, Defender of Life. Join in the daily focus with prayer, and encourage your son or daughter to get involved this week. Check out the Xavier Respect Life Week calendar here. With the goal of dignifying the life of our brothers and sisters in need in our community, the personal product drive for Metro Catholic Outreach continues during this Respect Life Week. Be generous and help others who are in material need.

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, join us at 3PM, in the chapel or from where you are, to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for greater respect, celebration, and dignity of human life with the specific focus on the group each day. Join on Wednesday at 7AM or at 3PM to pray a rosary for the defense, dignity, and celebration of all human life from womb to tomb. As always, join us for 7AM Mass on Friday, with specific prayer intentions for life, or join us for Adoration at any time on Friday to pray for the vulnerable, forgotten, and disregarded in our midst.

Students may join the Respect Life club for a service outing to Metro Catholic Outreach on Tuesday, from 4:30-5:45pm. Limited spots available. Check in with Ms. Gelaude if students are interested; a permission form is needed.

Students may join Respect Life club for the movie Unplanned on Thursday night, starting at 7PM. To watch the movie, a permission slip is needed. Check in with Ms. Gelaude if students are interested! *Location will either be the theater or the cube! Parents and guardians, watching the trailer of Unplanned is even helpful for greater awareness of the need to uphold the Dignity of Human Life from womb to tomb.
