New: Action Needed if You Did Not Receive an Alert Last Night
Last night around 10:30pm we sent text messages letting parents and students know of the 2 hour delay this morning. If you did not receive this message and would like to receive future alerts, that will also include weather related announcements, below is a reminder on the steps to make updates in your parent PowerSchool, under "SwiftReach Swift K12". You may also add your student’s cell number to receive these alerts as well.
  • Log into PowerSchool here.
  • Click "SwiftReach SwiftK12" on the left side.
  • Click "Contact Information" at the top right.
  • Update the phone numbers that you wish to receive notifications.
  • Click "Save Changes" when done.
  • Click on “Alert Preferences” at the top right.
  • Check mark the phone numbers that you wish to receive notifications on.
  • Click "Save Changes" when done.

New: 529 Plan Information for Paying K-12 Tuition

New: Tree Request From the Xavier Community System
The Xavier Community System will be putting up Advent trees for the season very soon. We are in need of three 9 to 12ft artificial Christmas Trees. If you happen to have a tree in good condition that you are willing to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.

Reminder: Transportation Reimbursement Forms
First semester non-public transportation reimbursement forms for the area school districts are due December 1st. Click the district in which you live to find the form you need to submit.

Remember, Cedar Rapids school district forms need to be turned into the Xavier main office, all others should be mailed to the corresponding school district before December 1st

Reminder: Post Prom 2022 Volunteers Needed
2022 Post Prom will be held at the Iowa Sports Center on April 30, 2022 immediately following Xavier Prom. As always, the goal of Post Prom has been to provide a safe, fun, drug- and alcohol-free environment for our students. 

While we have most of the roles covered for 2022 (Volunteer/Publicity, Games, Registration, and Food), we are still in need of Post Prom Co-Chairs (2) and Prize Chairs (2). If you are interested or have questions regarding either, please contact Michelle Ridder at 319-551-5556 or Anna Wilson at 319-573-6405.
Reminder: Annual Battle of 42nd Street Blood Drive
The Annual Battle of 42nd Street Blood Drive will be held on Monday, December 6 and Tuesday, December 7 from 2pm-6pm at the Oakland Church of the Nazarene.

Reminder: Last Call to Join Booster Club
Xavier Booster Club 2021/22 sponsorship program deadline to join is December 1, 2021. If you have not joined yet, please consider joining.
The Xavier Booster Club is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting Xavier academics, athletics and fine arts. We help facilitate, promote, and provide funding for all school related activities. Xavier Booster Club provides hundreds of volunteer hours and thousands of dollars a year to enhance the high standards and success of Xavier High School and its students.
For the current school year, the Xavier Booster Club allocated $89,026 across 30+ XHS programs. Funds raised through the sponsorship program, concessions and the golf outing support these allocations.

Parents may now place orders for a 2021-2022 yearbook. Standard yearbooks cost $67 and personalized yearbooks are $83.

Reminder: Raking Leaves for Senior Citizens
