New: Christmas Break/Office Hours

Christmas break begins with an early dismissal this Wednesday, December 22 at 11:15am.

January 3 & 4 will both be in-service days and school will not be in session. Office hours both days will be from 9:00am-12:00pm.

School will be back in session Wednesday, January 5th.

New: Attention Sophomore & Senior Parents

Jostens met with Sophomores & Seniors last week and asked them to bring home some important information to review. Please remember that Jostens will be back at school tomorrow (12/21) during lunch.

Seniors will be turning in their graduation orders. This will be the only time that Jostens will be here to collect orders for important graduation items such as your Custom Xavier High School Graduation announcements.

Sophomores will be turning in their class ring orders. This will be the only time that Jostens will be here to collect orders and size your sophomore’s finger for proper sizing. Also, tomorrow for all qualifying ring purchases your student will qualify for their choice of the Free Gift with Purchase.

New: ACT Testing for Juniors - Save the Date!

Please save the date for ACT testing in school on Tuesday, March 29th. See email from Mrs. Joens for more information. Registration and payment information will come out in January.

New: Interested in Playing Sports in College? NCAA Webinar

All students and parents of students interested in playing a sport in college should consider attending the NCAA Eligibility Center webinar on Tuesday, January 11 at 5:30 p.m. Central time. Students will learn about the latest initial-eligibility news, requirements they must meet to be ready when they get to campus, and the best resources for them as they pursue their dreams of studying and competing at an NCAA Division I or II school.

Reminder: Semester Final Assessments

Semester Final Assessments will take place the last school days in December. Students are expected to report to all classes for final exams. Any planned absences during finals must be scheduled in advance with Mr. Svare. Click HERE for more detailed information regarding the schedule in December.

We appreciate the efforts of our teachers and students to maintain a testing environment on our final exam days. Students are expected to be in class and stay in class during their testing times. Parents are asked to refrain from calling their students out during these times as well.

Christmas Break provides a great opportunity for many students to get out and serve our community. Please remember that all students have a service requirement for graduation.

Reminder: XCS Family Support Group for Families with Students with Special Learning Needs

Xavier Catholic Schools is exploring the possibility of creating a group for families who have students with special learning needs. We are beginning this exploration by reaching out to families of students with an IEP or 504 plan. Please complete this short survey by Wednesday, December 22, to help us gather a sense of our families' level of interest in such a group. Thank you!
