New: Prayers for Russia and Ukraine
Archbishop Jackels will be leading a live stream prayer at 11:00 AM Friday. https://dbqarch.org/live-broadcasts

Pope Francis has invited the world to join him in the consecration of Russia and of Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary this Friday, March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation. If you are unable to join the livestream a recording will be available on the Archdiocese of Dubuque website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
New: K-9 Unit Training
As per Archdiocese and Xavier High School policy, we do from time to time invite the K-9 Unit of the Cedar Rapids Police Department and/or Linn County Sheriff's Department to conduct training at the school. These dogs may search all lockers, automobiles, and book bags on the school grounds. In the event this training results in the discovery of illegal drugs, parents will be notified, and charges are possible.

We wanted to inform parents that today (3/23) the Cedar Rapids Police K-9 unit did a walkthrough exercise in our school parking lot and no drugs were found during this exercise.

We will continue to do all that we can to encourage students to make healthy choices, including the choice to avoid involvement with drugs.
