Prayer Request for Xavier Family
The Xavier community wishes to keep the family of XHS parent, Lisa Gray Giurato, mother of August (X22) and Jack (X25), in our prayers. Lisa passed away earlier this month following a brief illness.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 1, at Coe College’s Clark Alumni House and garden from 1-4 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m.

We will work together as a family of faith to lift August and Jack in their time of great loss -- and we will share additional information on how the Xavier community can best help to support them.

May the Lord grant eternal rest unto Lisa and may He bring comfort and strength to Lisa's sons and other loved ones through their days.
ACTION ITEM: Only THREE Days Left to Apply for an ESA
Recently, you should have received your tuition contract for the 2023-2024 school year. With this in mind, we want to make you aware of a very important section within that contract which may require immediate attention.

Based on preliminary financial information we had from FACTS Management Company, we may have included a tuition credit for ESA assistance on your contract. However, you must apply and be approved for this form of tuition assistance by June 30, 2023. Click here to apply...

The application process is simple and does not take much time. However, if you do not apply or if you are not approved by June 30, 2023, you will not receive that credit amount from the state of Iowa -- Xavier HS will send those families a revised contract removing this tuition credit.

If you believe you may qualify for an ESA but are not certain, we strongly encourage you to complete the application process. The application process takes just a few minutes and in most cases, families will know immediately if they qualify.

Purchasing Information:

  • Xavier polos can only be purchased through Lands End. Use THIS LINK
  • Xavier crew neck and quarter zip sweatshirts are purchased through Xavier Saints Shop. 
  • Used items can be purchased at the Saints Shop Back-to-School Sale which will be Wednesday, August 9 from 4pm to 7pm and Thursday, August 10 from 11am to 1pm.

SALE:
  • Lands End will have a 20% dress code sale from June 30 - August 4! Use CODE: GLOBE PIN PIN: 3766.
  • They will also have a 1 cent Logo Application Sale from June 30 - July 7.

Parents are asked to please note that all clothing items, including dress code polos, must be free of holes, rips or tears.
Reminder: Xavier Booster Club in Search of Volunteer Leaders
Xavier Booster Club is proud of its 25+ years of support to Xavier High School. We are one of a handful of Booster Club’s in the State of Iowa who support all areas of our school, from academics to athletics, music, drama, robotics, BPA, and more!

For the 2023 – 2023 school year, the XBC supported 35 activities with a total of $110,000. The Booster Club has three major fundraisers that allows us to support Xavier High School:

●   Sponsorship/Membership Request (August-December)
●   Concessions (all year)
●   XBC Golf Outing (June)

For the upcoming school year, XBC is in search of volunteers to take on a leadership role. Open leadership roles include:

  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Volunteer Chair
  • Concession Chair (basketball and wrestling)
  • Concession Chair (soccer and track)
  • Concession Chair (softball and baseball)

Reminder: Second Round of STO/FACTS Application Deadline is Approaching
We would like to remind families of a second round of assistance through STO. FACTS applications that STO uses are due by July 14th. If you have started the application process already please respond to any FACTS inquiries and complete the application process. The application is available online at online.factsmgt.com/aid in both English and Spanish. In addition to your completed application, you must include a copy of 2022 current wage and tax information.
