Welcome Back, Saints!
We are excited to welcome back our saints tomorrow, 8/23! We will begin the day with Mass and parents are welcome to join us. Here are a few helpful reminders:

  • Tuesday, 8/23 will be an "A" day.
  • Students should report to House and will be dismissed from there to attend Mass.
  • It will be a regular dress day. As a reminder, shorts are not part of our dress code at Xavier.

Reminder: First Day of School Notes...
Below are a few notes you are welcome to share with your student to ensure we hit the ground running Monday morning:

  • Bell Schedule: Students should report to their "House" classroom by 7:50 a.m.  
  • We will celebrate Mass at 8 a.m. (Parents are welcome)

  • Dress: Regular Dress Code Day 
          A few helpful reminders regarding dress code:
  • Shoes must have closed backs and toes as well as true soles
  • Shorts are not to be worn as part of dress code.
  • Hair: may not cover the face for both boys and girls, unnatural hair colors are not permitted
  • Piercings: Must be in the ears only. Clear plastic studs can be used in nose piercings.

  • Student Schedules: Official student schedules are in PowerSchool
  • Schedule Changes: 
  • Before school starts, schedule changes can be made in Student Services
  • Changes on or after the first day require signatures from parent, teacher, and an administrator
  • All schedule change requests must be requested by Friday August 26.
Reminder: Upcoming Parent Meetings
  • Sophomore Parent Meeting is Wednesday, August 24 at 7:00pm.

  • Junior/Senior Parent Meeting is Monday, August 29 at 7:00pm.
Reminder: Picture Day
School pictures will be taken on Friday, Aug. 26. This will be a regular dress code day.

Reminder: XPX Eucharistic Adoration Volunteers Needed
XPX will support Eucharistic Adoration with parent volunteers in the Xavier Chapel this school year for our students & community on Fridays starting Sept. 9th. Adoration takes place every Friday school is in-session beginning at 7:30am, following the 7:00am Mass, and concluding at 2:45pm. Two parent volunteers per hour are needed. In addition to a one-hour weekly commitment, shared spots (every other week) are available. For more information please contact Linda Mitchell at lindaashleyrd@gmail.com or 319-743-8190. Reminder: Donations from Parents Needed
XPX will hold a back to school luncheon for all teachers and staff on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022. All donations may be dropped off on the cart outside the main office on Tues, Aug 23 from 7:30-9:30am.
