After many hours of testing, details of our All New 2024 Beta Xplorer E-Moto off road bikes are ready to send out! This dealer-only bulletin is to provide all of you with the overall plan for this model so that you all have a better understanding of the project. While I have to admit, I have never been a fan of Ebikes, being a mechanic since out of diapers, I have not had any desire to add these to our model line up. Even when we were looking at purchasing the Alta brand during their shut down, I was not impressed at all with the bike.
Then after we started doing business with a partner who specializes in E bikes, and after we started selling the youth e bikes, I had them send a few samples of their new E-Moto bike. Thinking I would not be happy with the build quality OR the overall feeling while riding the bike, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the fun factor. I quickly began to rack up miles off road to better understand what type of customers would be interested in this product. After having more than sixty different people test the bike, ages 15-65, it was clear that this bike is a must-have for many different customers.
The name "Xplorer" or properly pronounced Explorer, is defined as:
"someone who travels to places about which very little is known, in order to discover what is there"
With the name being said, this is exactly the customer base that we feel will want to purchase this new model. While we will not be marketing the bike for sport or racing use, we will rather focus on fun and enjoyment for people to get out and take a small adventure. Keep in mind that we all are used to performance, racing, and speed however we are missing a product line for the 95% of the others out there who would just like to explore trials and campgrounds and not have to worry about speed or danger. The goal is to bring a different/new customer to your dealership. This is not a normal E-pedal bike but rather a E-moto bike so there are no pedals, only adjustable folding footpegs.
The battery can be removed in about one minute so an extra battery can be purchased as an option so your customer can double their riding time. The charger for the Xplorer is built very robust and plugs into the bike easily. Charging time is between 2-3 hours depending on remaining battery percentage left.
While not made in Italy by Beta, our partner is focused on producing a quality product and to keep a continuing production for beta USA to insure a solid business plan.
