Hi Friends!

I'm sure most of you read last week's Friday E-News and the announcement about my departure from All Saints' as the Director of Youth Ministries.

I wanted to thank you all for a wonderful two years at All Saints', especially with the youth and their families. It has truly been a joy to walk alongside your teenagers as we explored our faith, played lots and lots of games, belly laughed, shed a few tears, and built genuine relationships. Your teens have made a huge impact on my life and I can only hope that they have taken at least a few lessons away from me as well.

My family will be moving down to Macon in mid-November where we will be closer to family and where I will begin a new position at Christ Episcopal Church. The great news is that I will still be working in The Diocese of Atlanta, so I will still see some faces at diocesan events and at Camp Mikell! In the meantime, I still have a few more weeks at All Saint's, with my final Sunday being November 12th, so I look forward to saying all the "see you later's" in the coming weeks!

Again, that you so much for an incredible two years and for wrapping your arms around my family. I am thankful.

Peace,

Hope

THIS SUNDAY

Trunk or Treat and Boo!-charist

This Sunday we will celebrate all things Halloween, saints, and treats! Our Halloween celebration this year begins with Trunk or Treat at 4:45pm. Youth are encouraged to come around 4:20pm to help give out candy and ask trivia questions at the Trunk or Treat stations! We will then head into Ellis Hall for a Boo!-charist service and pizza dinner. Come one, come all...and don't forget your costume!

There will be no SNL this evening.

PARENT CORNER

Parents Needed for SNL Dinner!

It's that time again, SNL begins September 10th which means our parent meal sign-up is back! There is so much that goes into Sunday's in The Attic and one of the ways that parents can help is by providing our meal during SNL. This can be anything from a homemade meal, take-out, or catering...whatever is easiest for you! This is usually for about 20-25 people.

Please take a look at the available dates and sign-up for a time that works best for you! Thank you so much for your dedication to our youth program, we couldn't do it without awesome parents like you!

MIDDLE SCHOOL CORNER

New Beginnings Fall Retreat

New Beginnings is a spiritual formation retreat designed for middle school students in The Diocese of Atlanta. Every Fall and Spring, between 60-100 students and adults come together for a weekend of camp activities, small groups, skits, music, and plenty of fellowship.

This retreat is led by our New Beginnings Team, a group of high school students, chaperones, and parish and diocesan staff who plan the program and host our middle schoolers.
