Y-Knot-Celebrate

After more than a year of ideation and planning, the 1st Annual Y-Knot-Tri is officially in the books. First time events can be nerve-racking and laden with surprises (both welcome and unwelcome), but due to the impeccable planning of its organizers, dedication of its volunteers, and generosity of its sponsors, success is the one word that comes to mind as I sit down to write this reflection.

Business After Hours

This month, Chamber staff, ambassadors, and board members invite you to Business After Hours at the Chamber!

We'll be gathering at our centrally located downtown office for an early evening of food, beverages, networking, drawings, and most of all, fun!

Fall Festing

Just like that, summer is almost coming to a close. While we hope you enjoy the waning days of beach bumming, river ratting, and lake adventuring, we invite you to look ahead to each and every weekend in October, when Lake City hosts Fall Fest!

This month long celebration welcomes back all your favorite activities from last year, while introducing some new and exciting fun. Join us for Touch-a-Truck, Haunted Hok Si La, Johnny Appleseed Days and so much more!

Kids Art Extravaganza

Lake City Area Arts is excited to host a Kids Art Extravaganza, August 18-20th!

Activites include a rock painting session with Michelle Knudson, Kinder Kontzerts Out and About (a Minnesota Orchestra Children's Program), and a make-your-own T-Shirt screen-printing class with Steve McKenzie.

Sounds fun? Well, of course!

Junk Crush is back at Johnny Appleseed Days in Lake City! Last year over 2000 folks perused our vendors' booths and enjoyed 2 perfect fall days of live music, good eats, kids activities and more. Regional Development Tour

CEDA and the Lake City Port Authority are excited to announce that Lake City has been selected as one of three cities to participate in the annual Regional Development Tour, along with Zumbrota and Goodhue.

The day-long bus tour will take place on 9/28 and will take passengers on a guided tour, showcasing sites available for development, landmarks and points of interest, and staple businesses and buildings. Learn more here

From the 150th Committee...

The 150th committee will be hosting a vintage-style baseball game versus the Rochester Roosters on Saturday August 27th. There will be a presentation about the history of Base Ball put on by Corky Gaskell at 2:30 PM and the first pitch at 3:00 PM between the Rochester Roosters and the Lake City club.
