Grant Slinger
Grant's journey to America began in 1978 when he arrived in New York as a pianist for Cunard's QE2 liner. After 13 transatlantic crossings, he fell in love with the country and its people, eventually emigrating to Los Angeles in 1986.
Now, 38 years later, America is undoubtedly his home. With a background in computers and communications, Grant played a key role in developing Bates Worldwide's Digital division and co-founded Screaming Media, Inc., which went public in 2000.
Despite attempting retirement twice, he remains active in the business world. Currently, Grant is a partner at C&G Media, Inc., a Norwalk-based digital/print company publishing luxury lifestyle magazines under the Cottages & Gardens brand in New York, Connecticut, the Hamptons, and Palm Beach. He has also founded The Vévion Institute, a non-profit organization offering in-depth courses on changing addictive thinking.
An avid motorcyclist, cook, and walker, Grant is a former Westport resident who now calls Silvermine, Wilton home.
