Y’s Men Membership News

Saturday, October 5, 2024

Hello Y’s Men:

We're pleased to introduce New Member Merrill Stone. Before doing so, here are a few important updates.

Renewals

Renewals are arriving quickly thanks to the MemberPress system that Y’s Men President Bruce Borner installed this fiscal year. As with all software rollouts, tweaking is necessary to fine-tune the process.

A few members have helped by alerting us to an issue or two. Don’t hesitate to let me know if you spot something. Several Y’s Men enthusiasts have discovered they cannot renew early. That’s a feature (not a bug). Please wait for an email with instuctions to complete a renewal. If you have a problem, let me know.

New Member Y’s Men Hats

If you joined during July, August, or September, your Y’s Man hat awaits you. I can give it to you at the Thursday, October 17 Y’s Men meeting.

Writers needed! We have received feedback that the new member introductions are enjoyed but should be more in-depth and include an interview. Please let me know if you would enjoy writing some of these.

Appreciation for Member Referrals

Our heartfelt gratitude to the following members who have referred new individuals to our organization: Floyd McCoy, J. Scott Broder, Ed Diamond, Ted Horowitz, Marshall Breines, George Kalan, Baxter Urist, Woody Bliss, Bob Rosenkranz, Mitch Fitter, Nick Snow, Art Gang, Keith Brooks, Ron Holtz, Joe Wiles, Steve Rothenberg, and Steve Chodroff.

Your efforts in growing our community are invaluable. Remember, while Y's Men helps you live longer, it's not forever – that's why your continued support in bringing new members is crucial.
