Membership Updates and Appreciation

Introducing New Y's Man Jonathan Horowitz

Louis Weinberg

Dr. Jonathan Horowitz: A multifaceted medical professional and community leader.


• Westport resident since 2010, bringing a wealth of experience in psychiatry and healthcare leadership


• Cornell University alum (BA) and Tufts University Medical School graduate (MD)


• Former CEO of a psychiatric hospital and medical director of a community hospital in Dorchester, Mass.


• Authored a book on child sexual abuse, drawing from his experience as a clinical director of a research project on the topic


• Currently maintains a private practice in adult and child psychiatry


• Active community member with strong interests in:

-- Biking

-- Boating

-- Bocce

-- Book clubs

-- Community service

-- Computers

-- Global discussions

-- Investment clubs



• Fitness enthusiast, regularly working out at the local YMCA


• Passionate about raising awareness on child sexual abuse
